Bad as it was, 2020 will be remembered. Our latest collection is called The Twenty in a tribute to all that happened to each and every person in the year the pandemic took a grip, a new normal kicked in and words like front line workers, lockdown, virus load, active cases, daily death count, MRNA, and curfew were unavoidable. People were pivoting to reinvent themselves and as the horror of the pandemic got ever closer to friends and family and our social circles, we were forced to reassess and home became more important than ever.
Dodo was launched last year - it was planned pre pandemic as we made a trip to the UK to carefully select designer fabrics and offer something new to our home city Dubai. As homes became more important and as our 'space' became ever more important, we found changing the cushions was one of the fastest and most cost effective ways to renew the energy in your home or home office and our brand seemed to have been born just at the right time.
We're now on our second collection and starting to think about our third but we really just wanted to take a moment to remind ourselves that the year this business was born was possibly one of the hardest we've ever had to navigate as a collective and it's worth just saying thank you to all those who supported, bought or liked one of our posts.
